Spec me a case

Hi,

I've currently got a Lian Li PC-7 Plus II which I really like - it's a decent size, looks nice and doesn't have a flap on the front.

However, it doesn't have enough hard drive slots for me. I currently have 3 in there (two in the proper bay, one in the floppy bay due to graphic card getting in the way) and want to add two more.

So, I'm looking for a nice case with no flap on the front and a decent amount of drive slots. Looking to spend around £50, but needs to be decent quality so I can stretch the budget if needed.

Meh, should have got the Eclipse 62 like I was going to originally. Oh well.

Thanks,
Craig.

Look where the gfx card ends in relation to the HDD just above it, tight I think if it clears at all.

edit - the Silverstone PS02B looks good, can't find any pics of the inside with parts fitted to see what the room is like though.

Looks like the GTX260 & it's definitely blocking off the hard drive slot directly in front of it :(

That's quite nice, not sure what that silver thing on the front is supposed to be though

I'm guessing you're using 3 of the 5.25" bays for drives as well then with that case?

I'm using all 4 of the 5.25" bays - more air space around the drives for cooling. I'm leaving the top most 3.5" bay (floppy drive bay) empty. I may need to squeeze a fan in there to cool the drive below as it's running a little warmer than the rest of the HD's (which all get fan cooled).

It's a nice case, but I think repeated (ie dozens to hundreds of times) removal of the front panel may wear out the plastic lugs that hold it on. Behind all the mesh on the front panel is some foam to trap dust, but I'll probably remove it all as dust isn't a problem for me. I have a MATX motherboard installed so it might be more of a squeeze with a full size motherboard.

That one's quite nice, a little expensive though considering I'll need to use the 5.25" slots instead of having dedicated 3.25" slots :/

The quality of the PC-7 I have isn't the greatest, from the reviews I've read the Antec 300 is pretty good quality.
