i was looking into new cases and the fractal r4 really got my interest.

But now it seems ocuk is sold out, so spec me a case for £100 that offers similar features,
dust covers, 140mm case fans, nice n big to take bigger gpus..

i dunno were to start :( gimmie some idea's :D

Antec P280. I have the 500R and the P280, they are sort of different cases. The 500R is all about airflow, dual GPUs, open positive pressure design.

The P280 is the opposite. Insulated, understated, negative pressure, although can be changed around.

The 500R imo has more to offer (more fans, fan controller, LEDs, removeable HDD cage, slightly better build), but yes it gets quite dusty.

Both are quiet, the P280 a bit quieter comparatively at low RPM (which is what I run) and high RPM. I'm getting good temps, and no issues. One problem is that the front panel headers were a stretch, so were some of the PSU cables (had to route 8-pin CPU power behind motherboard), since it's a XL-ATX case.

For £100, I'd still go with the R4 if you can find one. IMO a better case than the P280 / 500R for the money (got the P280 for £60). All three cases are really solid choice all round, rest is a matter of opinion.

There are probably others, like the NZXT Phantoms, Shinobi XL, Fractal Define XL, but no direct experience.

the fractal XL top fan annoys me, wonder why everyone seems to be running outa r4's... maybe r5 is on its way? :D
