Spec me a case :)

Ok Mrs has just got all new furniture for our bedroom,
now my case doesn't have a home so need to put it in a smaller case if possible??
Problem is I want to swap out my Gpu for a new one so unsure if I could go
Much smaller don't want heating problems,

Advice please

Not if he's keeping his old hardware, which he appears to be doing.

@OP Smaller in what sense? Height? Footprint? Width? You're not going to save huge amounts of space switching from one ATX mid-tower to another, unfortunately.

thanks for the reply, to be honest I wanted to go slightly smaller all round as its a bit of a beast (size wise)

I may see what people's views are on upgrading the rig altogether
because by the time I add more another 8gb ram and Gpu so it could handle the latest games, I'm woundering would it bottle neck anywhere be spot on?

There aren't really that many atx cases that try to be compact and I guess due to the size of the motherboard it's quite hard to do well. Unless you want to modify a case or make a custom one, there is the Cooler Master HAF XB which is wider then a standard mid tower case but also shorter.
