What I am trying to do is to sistematically have the camera trigger an alarm when an intruder passes through a 7m wide perimeter.
My first questionning was if I was doing something wrong concerning the camera parameters. This was my first assumption since in my experience superposing multiple intrusion/tripwire IVS rules on the same perimeter significantly improved the success rate.
It appears that the camera configuration is not the root cause of the detection miss. And it's good to know the camera limitations in order to improve the whole installation.
Thank You for your input!

but unfortunately it's about 10-11m. Here, filming the public domain is forbidden by law. So instead masking half of the field of view of the camera in order to comply I inclined the camera a little bit more.
