No worries at all. Hopefully you find something that works well for you. The Reolink has been ideal for my needs, although I guess having cams and NVR all from Reolink probably helps

Can anyone recommend a cheap mini or full-size pc that will take a M.2 Coral TPU for use in Frigate? Currently looking at a Lenovo Thinkcentre M710q but not 100% sure it's compatible.

The wife wants a ring doorbell but also wants to pay the yearly subscription for online recordings. Though I personally can't justify the price when I have told her we can buy a doorbell with our own recorder and I explained the reolink NVR to her.
Though I don't want it hardwired so would prefer the Wi-Fi version

I have just read you can also use a Synology NAS with surveillance station. I have an old DS412+ collecting dust so might give this a try before purchasing the NVR.

Got a vile neighbour (long story been ongoing for 2 years, started with she keyed my car now she is throwing rocks into our garden)
Police are well aware but need to get hard evidence so they can arrest her - she now has a PCW but she's started up again
I have 3 Google Nest cameras outdoors but their motion capture doesn't pick up the rock throwing
Looking for a discreet device I can put indoors on the window sill of my sons bedroom to look down on their garden (semi detached) and record her, she will be between 3m to 15m away and can watch the footage back to catch her throwing rocks (hopefully clips are tagged when there is action?)
Anything out there not crazy expensive/complicated do this?

Edit: You can’t do what you are proposing, it would be illegal.
Be very careful if any video or audio recording captures anything which is not your property or a public space. Given the circumstances, I would very carefully read the ICO’s guidance on CCTV so you don’t find yourself being counter sued for invading their privacy.

A higher frame rate should help. Can you set the frame rate higher on your cams? Otherwise, a higher performance camera with higher frame rate and higher resolution.
I would have a look at the Reolink range. Maybe ask in their Facebook community re the performance requirements needed.

I seriously doubt it, in fact I’m going to go as far as saying it’s not a legitimate reason.
You are setting up a CCTV camera for the sole purpose of filming someone’s private property. That has never been ok and will land you in court if they take it further, particularly as you are also aiming to conceal the camera.
People have found themselves in court for doing specifically what you are proposing.
Capturing other peoples property should be incidental in first instance. You should also seek permission to capture any images from property which isn’t yours, that obviously isn’t happening here.
What did they do before CCTV cameras were a thing… that’s just lazy thinking.
At the end of the day, the UKs privacy laws mean you can’t just capture what you want on other peoples private property, people have a right to privacy. It’s simply not reasonable to record your neighbours garden without their permission 24/7 even if they are being an utter **** for a few mins a day.
Record your own garden, it will be obvious where the stones come from…
To catch rocks in mid air you need a short electronic shutter/exposure time (not to be confused with frame rate although more frames can be useful in conjunction). I don't know the capabilities of those cameras but you should be looking for ones that have allow these to be configured and also have a good sensor size versus resolution as this yields more light in a shorter time and works better especially with a shorter exposure time.
For example my external cameras will easily pick up rain drops mid air during the day as they working on a much shorter exposure when light levels permits.
Nest cams set to highest quality etc already, no option for frame rate/exposure

She threw rocks once whilst myself and my 5 year old were in the garden, she was aiming for the greenhouse. Police called and she even admitted it because apparently we threw snails over (we haven't retaliated once)
Ok so if I set the camera zone from the common fence into our garden, what camera would pick up clearly the stones coming over?
We need to get her done, she continues to bang on our bedroom wall early hours of the morning (intermittent over 2 years) to wake our 6 month baby up - have sound recordings of these but still not enough for police
It's seriously affecting our right to peaceful living in own home - she is a vile lady and we don't want any 'diminished responsibility due to a medical condition', she needs what is owing to her, legally

Sounds like a more sensible approach - look at Reolink.
Go for 4K so you can make out smaller objects and as you are recording out of a window, you probably want something with a narrower field of view/longer lens as you’ll be further away than say on the back of the house.
P.S. if you are looking to prevent crime rather than catch someone in the act - CCTV is only preventative when it’s visible. Mount the camera on the outside of your house rather than hiding it and they’ll probably stop.

I wouldn't recommend Eufy and Reolink isn't for me, but its a reasonable value for money brand. The main question is what do you expect from this integration?
I have a double digit number of CCTV cameras and a very complex Texecom alarm system but both of these and AI image analysis of images just input to HA. I use those inputs to trigger notifications to phones and in house wall mounted tablets and turn on lights but nothing more. CCTV isn't a good deterrent as a simple hoody or mask means there is no ID, and in practice even when presented with great 4K CCTV of home intrusion/car theft the authorities will do nothing and I say that from experience.
Many CCTV cameras can flash a light and make a sound on motion detection but being able to do this without false triggers due to owners, delivery people etc is tricky and the actual benefit is negligible. The first line of defence is physical security, then lighting for night time deterrent (if in a populated area) and finally monitoring with alarms and CCTV with remote monitoring/notifications so you know something has happened.

Yeah mine has a built in siren
Can even set it off remotely
It's decently loud yes
But a dedicated alarm sirens probably louder
Since can fit a bigger speaker in it
And can have flashing lights etc
As always it all depends how much you want
To spend
Reolink stuff is decent for the cost definitely
But not really top of the range stuff
And as simon42 said
Physical security is even more important than cameras
Ajax is the best solution for both alarm and surveillance cameras in one ecosystem. Ajax also works with Dahua cameras.
Dahua have a new-ish alarm system called Airshield but it’s not as good as Ajax and doesn’t have as wide a range of sensors.
