staples have a grey fabric chair my dad is using it atm and he has arthritis in his spine and he finds it very cumfy

I used to have one of these. Very comfortable whilst it lasted. The problem with mine was the arms snapped off and thus the back didn't stay on.

£280 is a lot of money, really need to be able to try them out I guess. Some people who bought the markus found the lumbar support didn't really work for them and so on.

They really aren't though. The heaviest most solid computer chair I have ever owned. That being said I am contemplating giving it to my mother and getting a humanscale for myself.

Have you considered moving to a standing desk setup? It'll do more for back pain than just getting a comfy chair to sit in for most of the day.
