Just enquiring really to see what you come up with.
My second machine is used mainly for surfing and some light gaming, do sometime play BC2 on it, but do have a main rig for gaming.
Well in this rig is a 3870x2 which is fine, but pretty sure it is using unwanted electric when it is idling (might be wrong on that) and also is a little noisy.
So what I am looking for is lower power, slighty faster and quieter.
Suggestions please.
CPU is a 3.33ghz e5200
 
Hows the 5450 compare, I see it is passively cooled, not sure on the performance though, but do like the idea of the passive cooling. or even a 55** series card.
Dont have to be mega cheap but do want quiet (something less or similer to the 3870x2 as it idles well) low power comsumption and same or better performance.
Bear in mind the e5200 is not exactly a flying machine even at 3.33ghz so dont want to be CPU limited.

5750's probably your best option, hardly call it cheap though. Given that a 4670 is roughly equal to a 3850, a 4770 must outperform a 3870 by a long margin. Two of them it might, but you'd probably need a bit more to notice a difference.
