spec me a cheap conroe board plz

My m8s getting the following

conroe 6300
Gig of ddr2 800 value ram
x1900xt 256

new power supply etc etc,

Can you give me some ideas for a cheap conroe board ( around £60 ) that will allow a little overclocking, nowt to extreme, maybe aiming some where around 3 GHz

Im looking at this at the moment. P5V-VM DH

You won't get over 2.1Ghz with that board.

I doubt you'll find a half-decent overclocking board for under £100. The Gigabyte S3 at £100 is probably the cheapest.

ok, in that cases we looking at the DS3, which im assuming is the better board.

one last question before we order, will a 500w psu be enough for this with the x1900xt and the conroe say at 2.8 GHz?

Yeah the DS3 is the better version. Tho be sure to read up on what RAM it will accept.

And a decent 500w psu will be more than enough.
