I need a flat panel monitor as a 2nd screen but it won't be needed for games etc (just for running music apps while it sits on top of my digital piano).

Can someone spec me something cheap that will be up to the job and won't die after 3 months? :p

I have an x1950 Pro video card... will one of those VGA splitter lead thingys do the job or do I need something else?

Cheers :D

budget? size your after?

Hum I would think 19" would be preferable... don't really want to spend more than say £120 if I can help it but the cheaper the better as I want to save dosh for a new dell panel in Jan/Feb :)

monitor

Looks nice and fairly good.

Will take a look, thanks... I found a splitter cable which has 1 VGA and 1 of the block type connectors (24 pin + 4?.. DVI?), so I guess I can just find a block-VGA adapter and use that to extend the display :)
