Afternoon people,

Just after some advice and a potential laptop purchase for a friend. He's basically after a laptop for about £300 - £350.

It will mainly be for Surfing the net, the odd spreadsheet and word document, a few videos and football manager.

I have been looking at the Samsung NC10 but will it be powerfull enough (RAM and processor wise) to run Football manager well?, which can be quite intensive.

Any pointers?

Cheers

Bobster.

Thats a netbook so the specifications are pretty low, if you're looking for performance you can get double the processor power for the same price but the laptop will be of a bigger size, so it depends what his needs are. I personnally don't know how intensive football manager is so maybe someone else on the forum will know.

EDIT- I did a search in the NC10 thread and found these two posts

so it does run, but for the same price you could get a 2ghz core2duo for that price, so it depends what his needs are
