My trusty old Lumix TZ8 has finally bitten the dust after being dunked in the sand, and another lens stripdown (it's had a few, because of the old sucky-uppy dust problem) caused more faults than it cured.
I got that on the cheap (£109 I think), but have been generally happy with the quality of the pics presumably the Leica lens helps a lot.
I should add I've got a decent DSLR (D7000) but I need the above for when I don't lug the big bag.
I'm leaning towards the Sony WX350, it's tiny with a good battery and the sample pics seem pretty good. The Fuji XQ1/2 look nice too but would have to take a price cut and I would miss the long zoom. Various reviews seem to suggest the Ixus 275 is the best BFB but looking at the samples they seem a bit dull, also poor battery life.
I would get another Pana TZ, some official refurbed TZ60's were on their ebay shop recently for £129, but having handled some in a shop they seem a bit on the chunky side, and I don't know if they still suck up dust like a demented hoover.
So, i'm open to suggestions, any older cameras in the £100-£150 area I should be looking for? Thanks.
