Spec me a cheapo system

Basically, I'm looking for a system that can watch films, play music, browse websites, with flash games running smoothly etc, office applications such as word, excel, for pretty cheap £100-£300

bare-bone systems are fine, except im not entirely sure what you get with it! Amd, or Intel, which ever is the best bang for buck! Integrated gfx card is fine, as long as it won't stutter the web browsing experience!

I currently have a pretty decent spec system (afaic), bf2 full spec hl2 full spec etc, however this is for my parents to use! They currently have a pc that has a lot of brands that a lot of you won't be familiar with(OLD)!

Do your best I would do it myself, but I've been out of the hardware scene since i understood what i needed for my pc, so lost interest in what is compatible with what etc etc!

Billy's system will be more than adequate for what you/they require although you could save a further pound by picking the DVDRW from OzZie's system. Do you already have an OS for your parents to use?

yes, already got xp! Is 1 gig cheaper? also 80gb is probably more than enough!

1gb is cheaper at around £15 but frankly for the money you are as well getting 2gb, remember that onboard graphics will use some of the Ram anyway.
