Spec me a city builder!

So I sat down and played some Theme Park World with my brother on a riffy old PS1 and remembered how much I love this sort of game. Does anyone have any recommendations? Along with Theme Park World i've also played Jurassic Park something or other park builder (Actually great fun, but hard), Theme Hospital, Evil Genius and probably some others.

yeah I got anno and played it for a good 4+ hours and then couldn't face going back, i enjoyed playing it but it didn't draw me back.

Sim City 4 just doesn't let you get nice skyscrapers quickly enough In fact, the unpatched version seemed to conspire against you in ensuring that your metropolis ended up as a slum.

Exactly the same. Played it all day thought it was awesome and then for whatever reason lost motivation to ever play it again

What's so addictive about sim city. I find it incredibly tedious to try and get anywhere in it. I can never manage to get anything decent happening in the game.
