My original xbox and wii both use component video, however my tv only has one component input :(

What I'm after is a bang for buck component switch box that won't screw up my picture but won't cost me an arm and leg either. There are some cheap ones on ebay that I've read ok things about. My logic is that if they're cheap but crap I haven't really lost out, where as if it's good then I haven't spent more than I needed to.

The alternative is one of these:

It's a Joytech control center 540c.

Has anyone got any better suggestions? I really need to be cost effective here.

Just a little update. I was just about to get the above for £45 from the manufacturers site but I checked ebay and it had just gone up for £36 including delivery! Paid for it at 13:18 yesterday and it arrived before 9 this morning!

Really pleased and can't wait to get everything hooked up tonight.

Apparently with the Wii it's not an issue for everyone (I think it may have been fixed in later revisions).

If it is a problem all you have to do is call their tech support with the serial number and they'll send you an adapter for the blue component input. Apparently all it contains is a resistor :).

Just to say I have it all hooked up and it works like a charm! Original xbox and Wii hooked up with no issues at all.
