Hi all,

Quick question really. I'm about to have computrain try and do me out of £2500 odd pounds on monday I do believe (after my interview which I will no doubt pass with flying colours) So I figured to hell with it. I'll learn on my own.

I've read a few reviews and apparently the 'for dummies' isn't all that. However I found a book by Mike Meyers which several people have suggested to be good.

Can any of you guys offer any advice on books/best way to learn this?

Thank ye :)

A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, Sixth Edition (All-In-One) (Hardcover)

Would that be the puppy?

Anyone else been approached by computrain out of interest? I googled them and found a few stories.

Yeah I think I have the Fifth edition 2003 before the syllabus changed.

Don't bother with Computrain or similar, buy the books yourself and self study and/or enrol on a course at a local college, it will be much cheaper and more useful.

This is 2007 afaik according to the big river, but its the newest one there so I'm gonna get that and hopefully shall absorb all that I need to from it :)

My friend suggested i try and be the worst interview candidate ever on monday and see if the guy still wants me for his course and supposid jobs in Truro. Agreed? ;)

Thanks for the reply. I've ordered it and its due to be here tomorrow, I love the river prime trial ;)
