Just built a Prodigy PC and want to take it to my friends house. Does anyone know any PC bags/cases or something like this?

You going to carry it to your friends house??

How far away does he live? Reason I ask is I wouldn't fancy carrying my prodigy anywhere further than room to room.

He lives about 3 miles away, I was planning on putting it on my back and biking but I might have to take a bus. The case is quite fat so I need a deep bag. I don't think it's that heavy to carry outside, espesh if I could throw it over my shoulder.

I was thinking of that, I could use the styrofoam as protection too. Would need to cover up the pictures on the box though so I don't attract attention.

Given that the case is 6.69kg realisticly that means your PC must over over 10kg possibly well over. I'd give up on the cycling idea.

Your best bet is to buy a wheeled suitcase that can fit the PC with extra room for a decent amount of bubblewrap to protect it from jolts.

Or take a taxi.

Psh I aint paying out for a taxi every time. 10KG is light to me, I'm a big lad :D I'll see about making a handle on the packing box and attaching a shoulder strap. If it works I'll post pics.

I carried my Antec1200 before so this is nothing.

Yeah a taxi is best option.

No way could you cycle with it. Or not comfortably.

I wouldn't want my case strapped to my back while cycling on the road! Or cycling full stop for that matter!

10KG does seem light at first, but walking 3 miles with it and being an awkward size that might change.

Good luck. :)

Should be okay on my back and it's only a four minute walk to the bus stop.

Interested to see what carrying device you come up with!

I'm thinking original box with guitar strap as the box has handle cut outs.

You should be able to use one like the one in the OP and adjust the straps?

Expensive and I'd rather not attract attention to neighbors as I live on a council estate.

a large carry-all that you can put it in?

Probably could fit in the rig with its bits and pieces and then sling it over your shoulder

Thermaltake Tt eSport AC0022 LAN Transporter Carry Bag + lots of foam padding.

Could try going to a camping shop, might have some bags in there the right kinda dimensions you are after.

That carry bag looks too big for a little Prodigy.

I tried using the original box and it worked great for the first day until the strap started eating into the cardboard. The case is heavy though but I found that's because of the hard drives, they really add weight. If I take them out and use a good shoulder strap it shouldn't be a problem to carry the case.
