Spec me a computer chair!

Right my computer chair is on its last legs, infact the legs arent even from this chair the origonals broke, so i ripped some legs off a chair in a skip and used inch thick cable ties as the holes didnt match haha!

Id like a chair with a really high back as my current one only comes to my shoulders high (im 6"2), if not then the same height will do.

Preferibly creemy white leather (not proper leather, that fake leather stuff they usually are is fine)

Oh other daft pointers, its gotta have arm rests and go up and down and have wheels

and my budget is around 70-90 pounds.

I'd avoid that fake leather ****, my last chair had it and after about a year it just cracks and you eventually end up with bits of chair everywhere.

I got my current chair off Ebay from a bank clearout, it's a strong cloth cost quite a bit by chair standards (£110) but it's class.

EDIT: It's a Giroflex of some sort, similar to the Giroflex G64.

You might be able to get an "Eames" style office chair for that budget. It's what i'm currently looking at.

It usually goes on sale at points throughout the year, usually resulting in it being posted in GD and everyone buys one.

I actually ended up testing one after seeing it recommended so much and it was the best chair I sat on at Staples

Sorry to hijack thread! But I'm interested in buying a new chair too and would be interested in hearing what people here have got to say. The three chairs I'm looking into are as follows:

Humanscale Freedom

Steelcase Leap


As far as I can tell they're all of a similar standard of quality, but I wouldn't know, so any advice would be appreciated.
