spec me a computer for 500 pounds please,

im looking for a pc for 500 pounds for my friend, he has the budget for just the tower he has a screen and optical drives.

Are the optical drives SATA?

optical drives are both sata and operating system is not a problem he has that ready to install. just the hardware mate.

any old sata hdds? if he doesn't do you have any to give him? will save hime at leaast £70 which can be put elsewhere.

tbh none of us have any spare hdds liying around, im waiting on my set to come from states and he is just going to buy one with his system and upgrade at a later date.
