Went for the bundle to save abit of cash, PSU is designed for high end g-cards too. Left some cash for extra HDD or SSD depending on how much space he needs.

You don't really save anything for £20 more you can get the asus p6t board and 1600 ram, by buying sepratley.

It's already over clocked too, i'm not sure if his friend can/is intending on overclocking. But indeed, if he can do it himself, for £20 you can get a worthwhile upgrade.

£180 left over for a case.

Okay, so it's hitting max budget, but you've got two 295's (overkill, but when you're spending this kind of moolah you expect overkill performance), 128GB of raid 0 SSD, 2TB (or 1TB raid 1) of storage, blu-ray, and an overclockable D0 i7 chip.

D D Dannah: Nice spec there, I agree that for overkill prices you want an overkill rig.

However, you may want to spend the extra 30 quid for the Gigabyte UD5 and just get this instead of 1 Blu-Ray reader and 1 DVD RW. All else looks awesome, I wish I could afford it :D

Good recommendations. Also, to OP, if you do get a 295, or two, go for BFG. When it dies, their customer service is excellent. You might get a free upgrade, and some have even ended up with two free upgrades due to needing their SLI.
