Spec me a cooler!

Hey lads I have a Arctic Cooler freezer Extreme rev 2.

Its the Dual tower heatsink with the 120mm fan inbetween..

You guys got any good suggestions for a heatsink fan combo which i can mount an extra 120 on the heatsink and do a kind of push pull config.

I know theres one that people do it on but i cant quite put my thick head on it.

You know come to think about it I might as well get a H50.

What budget? You can get Thermalright Venomous X and 2 Akasa Apache fans for ~£70. This combo will easily outperform H50. Corsair H50 is only good when you don't have enough space for other coolers and the case airflow is poor. There's also Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator for around the same money. Perhaps the best aircooler out there.

about £60 £70

I currently idle around 38C and go up to about 45 or so load.

THATS reported through speed fan yet my bios say around 28C and so on.

Is there any reason why they would be so different.

Anyhow you think i would see much of a difference changing from what ive got now regarding the temps im telling and changing to either of your suggestions bud?

If those temps are are overall cpu temp, then your cooler you have now is more then fine, one of the top end air coolers would drop it abit, but not by a massive amount, id say save your money.

Somehow I didn't ask you what CPU you have this cooler with :confused:

Anyway, I don't trust these temp readings unless you can provide us with IntelBurnTest and RealTemp screenshots.
