Spec me a core i5 build max £600 including OS, keyboard mouse and LCD monitor

can you spec one for me please i aint good at choosing components :(

im sure £600 is more than enough :O for an i5 system? well maybe £700 will help?
 
well its for my dad and he wants a quad core processor build, i myself am starting my build in a few weeks and he wants me to build a PC for him. I can chip in about £400, so the bugdet can be around £900-£100, the reason why my dad wants this pc is because its for my lil bro who is 15 years old and likes to make montages and stuff and record HD footage editing and abit of gaming. So a maximum is £1000, however i wont tell him that because he dosent like to spend too much on PC he is one of those guys that spends £500 a year on a new pc
