n00b. Just four posts above yours....Someone in the Things You've Bought Thread posted their new corner sofa, to which one strange commenter responded "corner sofa, bit chavvy no?"
Everyone else just kind of runs with it, because it's hilarious.
@dymetrie posted in the 'items I have purchased' thread with a picture of what looked like a rather nice corner sofa. The first comment was that it's a bit chavvy and it all went from there.

If people are happy with the image they portray, don't care and still buy them then all power to them.
Agreed! It doesn't bother me if people wear Burberry caps, shell suits or have corner sofas. It's not doing me any harm as long as they aren't mugging me or something!Interesting that some are so obsessed at what others think about them, pathetic really.
OP has spelled it wrongIs OP suffering from a mod name change ? I saw this and initially thought it was a troll post but the post count shot that theory down.
That TV doesn't look level.

In a bedroom you want it higher as you can be propped up a bit by pillows but in the living room it just looks plain daft. I've never heard of corner sofa being chavy before so guess its something more local rather than a national known thing. My 'friends' have a TV mounted above their fireplace... in their bedroom.
Don't get me started.
what about L shaped sofas? I fancy one oif those
I want a Burberry corner sofa to match my cap, rockport boots and she’ll suit bottoms, any recommendations?
Completely impractical and uncomfortable though.I quite like something like this for my next sofa.

We have a corner sofa, it's bloody lovely. Fits nicely in my chav lounge, my chav taste and my chav self. It even has recliner sections for added chav effect
Who is this lady that is so suited to bottoms?
