I have £600 to spend on an upgrade and am looking at getting an E8500 and one of the P5Q boards. Compared to my last upgrade where I knew exactly what I wanted things have moved on a lot and there is too much really to choose from. Any advice on which Mobo, RAM (4GB) and PSU would be best please. I am already running a 4850 in my current rig but its being held back by the rest of my system.
Also, I have an Antec case I brought that I never ended up using on my AMD system as it has a vent for the CPU with duct to bring clean air in (like on the Antec NSK 4480B), this ended up no where near the CPU, would this match up on an Intel system?
I am not looking to overclock either and will just be leaving it all at stock settings.
