I have family in Sweden who know that I used to build my own gaming rigs, so they have asked my advice regarding some items they need.
They have told me they already have an MSI Z77a-G43 motherboard, 4GB RAM and a HDD. So they are looking for a CPU (Socket 1155), a GFX card and a PSU.
They have already been quoted 3335kr, which is about £280, for an Intel i3 3240 CPU, a Sapphire Radeon R7 265 with 3GB GDDR5 and a Coolermaster b500 PSU.
I haven't built a desktop system, let alone a gaming rig, in over 4 years though, so I'm a little behind the times when it comes to system upgrades etc. - Is it possible to get better spec for a lower cost from OC.uk?
Any help very much appreciated in two different countries
