Right basically I'm looking to get a water cooler soon, I don't have the money nor the expertise to do a custom loop so I want to go for a premade one

I was looking at the raijintek triton because it a lot of tests it performed really well but a) not much stock anywhere and b) a lot of them break so I'm looking for an alternative!

My case supports up to dual 140mm on the top and a 120mm as the exhaust.. Price range wise I would like to keep it under £100

If there's a few any would recommend with pros and cons over each other that would be great! :D

TL;DR - need a decent CPU water cooler for sub £100

I'd look at the H100i, h100i GTX, or a cheaper one, the Nepton 240. These are what was recommended when I was looking into it, before I realised it wouldn't fit! Seen loads of good reviews. I can't go into specifics, don't know much.

You can pick up the OC tech labs stuff pretty cheap, like £100 for a 120mm rad, and everything else that's needed. Or a 240 for £130. These are value parts though, I don't know how well they work, never used one, or any type of water cooler tbh.

Yeah can't get a conclusive answer on whether the h100i will actually fit. Bitfenix Facebook said it will, some users say no, and other users say yes >.< will have to see if anyone comments that's using ocuk tech labs stuff!

I got told and don't qoute me on this but most are 57mm including fans, so the rad and fan together come to 57mm.

From what I've been told if you go for a custom loop, either go all out and do it properly or don't do it at all. If I was you I'd go for an aio.

i can see you've overclocked it but are you going further? Do you actually need to spend that much on an aio? Just spend a bit more on an air cooler?

Measure from the top of your motherboard to the top of the case, where they fans/rad would fit.

Don't do for a H55, they're pretty bad unless you're running stock and just want slightly better temps.

My chip will over clock further but its the temps that stop it doing so.. Essentially I want to keep my current over clock but at a lower temp to stop my killing my chip with heat :P

Will do some measuring once I'm back from work! Cheers :D

Just as an update so theres no need to comment further.. After a lot of measuring I've found out that my top fan spaces don't have enough clearance so what I'm now considering is either a h80i or a custom loop with a radiator at the back as exhaust and one at the front of my case

Cost will be the deciding factor and I will see what I have left at the end of next month to spend :)
Thanks everyone for helping!

what is your current cooler out of interest and what temps are you seeing underload?

1.36v for 4.6ghz on FX cpus is pretty good

212 evo.. I know h80i won't beat it by much but aesthetics and slight performance boost is worth it! Can't keep it cool enough for 100% load but about 70-80% will hit 60's
