Spec me a Cube for £1300

im currently running a PC in the attic, as my room is really small. was thinking of getting a cube. have a LCD, K/Board N Mouse.

could someone spec me a cube with a budget of £1200-1300 for major gaming

you'll be much better off in the SFF forum for this but as a quick guess...

How about..

Shuttle SN25P £250
AMD X2 4400 £320
ATi X1900XT £350
2gb G.Skill ZX/HZ never really sussed which was better £150

and boring stuff like hard drives of your choice.

Thats about £1300 although the prices are approximate because I can never be bothered to check the shop.

If you're gaming at 1280x1024 then pull back the gfx card to maybe a 7800GT or X1800 and save yourself some cash.

Don't be talked out of dual core because more and more developers are releasing dual core patches for games (quake4 and call of duty 2 are 2 recent noteworthy examples) and it'll only grow.

cool, save your cash and get a 7800GT imo

maybe spend the extra on the SN26P in case you feel like going mental and having sli in an sff?

For that res, the X1800XT is more than enough.
