I am looking for a 27" monitor with these qualities for around £400 - £500

* Low Input lag
* 16:9 aspect ratio
* 1920x1080 resolution
* 120 Hz in 2D or IPS/VA
* Fast response time
* Well implemented Overdrive (no reverse ghosting)
* HDMi port (to connect to console)
* No visable back light bleed. (Else gaming in the dark becomes a pain.)
* Height adjustable stand

I've got both the above monitors (Samsung) and the (Asus) in 23.6". The Samsung has much better image quality and both have very similar backlight bleed (minimal, nothing to cry over) The Samsung is a lot, a lot thinner and sleeker looking.

I picked the Asus for its height adjustment.
The question is, are you planning on using the 3D and if so, AMD for Samsung, Nvidia for Asus.

For now it doesn't matter as long as its a great monitor, regardless of if I use its 3D features or not.
As long as it meets the majority of my feature check list I posted.
As I said in another post I am still undecided on my GPU.

Just thought I'd point out that the XL2420T is 3D enabled, but doesn't include any of the extras you need to do anything 3D.
Here's one of the comments "Don't be caught out this version does not come with built in 3D emitter only the TX has this. Now have to RMA the glasses (Which i got seperatly on incorrect info)to get the full 3D vision 2 kit."
