Spec Me A Decent Modem/Router

Hi guys,

My family's just moved into a new house, a four story Georgian jobby, so the Belkin G modem router they have just doesn't cut it any more.

They want the wireless to reach all four floors eventually, but for now they'll be happy with three. They'd like to spend no more than £80, so what does OcUK recommend?

I've had a look around and seen the Billion 7800n recommended, but that's too much. How does the 7300 fair? I'd like to get them sorted before I go back to University next week.

Suggestions welcomed.

Thanks!

Almost forgot about this thread, been a bit busy.

Thanks for the replies. I've asked about the Billion and it's just too expensive, around £40 too expensive, where as the ASUS is just about right. Had a quick look at the reviews and they all seem good, so thanks for the suggestion.

Edit: Seemed like a good buy, but it's only a router. They have TalkTalk so need a modem built in. Should have made it a clearer. Sorry.

Indeed, I had been considering that. I'll keep having a look and read around, but if the Asus is a good router for the money then I'd have no problem using the old belkin as just a router.
