Looking to spend up to £250 on a good quality pair of smart leather shoes or boots. Not decided fully on style but thinking double monk, brogue or possibly Oxford.
Normally go Loake but they're not inspiring me ATM.

Their customer service is excellent too. I have quite a few pairs from them, both own brand and other brands.

Disappointed that no-one yet has questioned the point of spending £250 on shoes.

Speaking of. Anyone seen Sonny around recently?

Stick with Loake IMO. You don't really need inspiring shoes, you just need slim semi brogues (tighter trousers), full brogues (chinos, jeans) and a pair of dainite for when it's wet.

Whilst I've never spent 250, I've bought shoes that RRP at 250. I actually track them on a spreadsheet :p some are 6 years old, once refurbished, and still look absolutely pristine. Cheap shoes are a huge false economy.
