Just a quick spec me... was thinking of going mini ITX for a future build but I think for airflow, temp reasons I probably will stick to micro ATX. That and PSUs are cheaper. And my current mobo is uAtx.
My current mid-tower case is literally falling apart
Buttons stopped working, held together with spit and kind words And in a fit of madness I drilled some holes into it, threw out air filters, which means the inside now resembles a brown coloured snow storm (rather it did until I dusted it today, something I hope not to do for another 4 years )
Since I have no use for optical bays, I wonder if any cases exist which do away with them? Could save some space.
Quiet is a biggie.
Airflow is a biggie.
Having a full/decent size CPU cooler is a reasonable requirement I think. My old case doesn't fit the Tranquillo HSF I'm using, meaning the side panel is half on half off. Again, dust. Dust everywhere.
Don't give two hoots about see-through panels. I'd rather not see my PC. Smaller is better, can hide it away, or at least not notice it. But it can have one if that's how it must be
Budget is £100, this I think is reasonable?
