I can't compare to cheaper units but am very impressed with Meaco product design & build quality. Both their fans & dehumidifiers are well thought out, well put together bits of kit that feel like they'll just keep chugging along for my intermittent use.

Going to pick up another dehumidifier for downstairs, but this time a 25L unit. Will use this near the washing.

That’ll mean we have:
1 12L Meaco compressor in the master bedroom (door is always closed)
1 12L pro breeze compressor on the landing, covers the upstairs
1 dessicant in the gym (gets cold in there, continuous drain pipe to the outside)
And the new 25L that should cover dowstairs

All set on timers with the night tariff, so cost pennies to run.
