Appliances direct - are they reputable? Seem like a cash in on AOonly buy from reputable sources - radio had a programme on maeko fakes a while back https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001xm9d
(I probably posted it before)
Yeah like I said looks way too good to be true. I've used Appliance Direct a few times before.Appliances Direct are fine. I bought my first Meaco from there.
That Nora bone one looks dodgy, their company reg no at the bottom is a dormant company with all directors resigned.
Do you not just leave it on. What's the smart functions for?I got one of these.

Bloody brilliant. Really neat design and fully wifi / smart controllable.
It's automated to run overnight when energy is cheap. Or I can fire it up on turbo mode when we have free energy sessions.Do you not just leave it on. What's the smart functions for?
Not something I would use. Seems counter intuitive to do anything but leave it on 24/7The new meaco 2 has app control for timer functions.
I think it was the big thing missing from the meaco one. And they have this warning against switching the unit on and off via the plug socket for some reason which means you can't use a smart plug.

Don't you just adjust the humidity. Mine uses less left on permanently than it does if I just have it on overnight. It gets quite expensive if it's continually running like in my house.

That's really high, but can you not just set it to say 75%No it never comes down in my house. Will run forever if I don't manually turn it off. I just try to use it to get out of the 80s % humidity
