I'm a bit of a piano noob, I've been playing 5 months or so now, self taught, and I'm looking for something to play while I'm at uni. At home my family has a very nice Yamaha digital piano, I'm looking for a half decent portable digital piano, probably in the £200-300 range. I don't really know where to start, a lot of the specs mean nothing to me, I've been having a look at the Casio PX-110/310 which you can get for about £300, anyone have any experience with either of these? And does anyone have any reccomendations for any others? Any advice would be great :)

The M-Audio PROKEYS 88SX can be bought for £250 so it is another model that fits your price range. They have some demo sounds on thier site too which might help. It is best to demo them in shops if you can though, for feel etc (though they are generally going to be cheaper online, unless the store does price matches). This one is semi-wieghted btw, so it won't feel as heavy as a real piano, best to find out what the Yamaha one you like is.

The Korg SP200 may also be available for under £300 and may be worth consideration :)
