Hello good people of GD
It's that time of year when Christmas parties are being planned. My works do is a black tie affair which tends to be the only time I 'dress up'. This is an employee only do, so no partners.
OH has a works do which is less formal; drinks after work in town followed by a meal and then some cocktails.
I was wondering if there was such an occasion whereby we could both attend a black tie event together. My initial thought was a fancy dinner dance or similar, but I can't dance to save my life. The closest we get to dancing together is at the end of the evening during a slow song, and even then it's just me cuddling her while shuffling about on the dancefloor.
So I was wondering is there a viable alternative? Maybe some sort of show or something?
We go out to lots of places together but I'm a jeans and t shirt guy, maybe a casual shirt and dark trainers if it's somewhere smart. Of course she manages to look great going to the supermarket!
Any suggestions?
