I rarely use my PC for gaming, so while I appreciate that many of you will advocate a full upgrade to this old beast, it really isn't worth it for me. I won't be playing games at crazy high resolutions (will be 1080p tops), and don't really care about running games at max settings.

What I want to do is to be able to run the latest Fifa as well as possible, and play the occasional game of Rome 2 Total War, and maybe things like Bioshock Infinite. As long as I can do these on medium-ish settings I'm pretty happy.

So, my current spec:

MSI GD80 socket 1156
i5 750k
ATI HD3850 (I know, I know ... this hasn't been upgraded for a LONG time!)
Corsair HX520
4GB DDR3

I'm looking at picking up a second hand GPU for about £50 to give the PC a well deserved boost. Obviously, there's no point getting the latest and greatest for two reasons - first, the CPU and RAM would bottleneck it, and second, because if I have to spend £200+ on upgrades I may as well just get a PS4, something I'm trying to avoid doing!

So, what's the best GPU which I can pick up for around £50 second hand? I assume that pretty much everything at that price point will be better than my current one, so throw some names out there! If two of them are reasonably similar in terms of performance, I'd rather take the one with lower power draw.

Edit: Is the 7770 the best option if I can find a second hand one?

Cheers guys! Yeah, the CPU is running at 3.8Ghz (I think...it's been ages since I actually turned the PC on!!).

Is the PSU still OK?

2nd hand 5850 can be had for peanuts, but would be showing its age a bit by now. Still have one in my gf's pc that has had a 35% over lock on it for over 3 years though, so maybe not!
