Hi all,

I am looking to buy a drawing tablet that connects to the PC, my daughter is 11 very soon and loves her drawings and art work, she is always drawing on the PC with a mouse or on paper, she quite grown up and will look after the device, i am not sure how much i need to spend, as long as it connects to the pc for live drawing think she will be happy maybe £50 is what i am thinking?

I have not got a clue about these tablets never used one never seen one what shall i get please.

Edit
Just seen this for £63 anyone used one reviews seem great

Generally Wacom are the preferred brand. Unfortunately the cheaper ones can be pretty small. Not too bad for occasional use, but maybe for someone used to paper she'll prefer a bigger surface. It's worth going for a better brand here I think, as it's both getting handled a lot, and an analogue interface. If it's jittery it won't be a fun experience.

The Huion inspiroy H950P has been getting pretty good reviews for its price. I've always used Wacom stuff, but from what I've seen Huion's recent devices have been pretty damn good for less money.

edit, the huion H640P also looks to be a pretty good budget option, can be had for just under £50. Its a little small but should be a good starting point for a youngster
