Hey guys me and my girlfriend are looking for a good light hearted fun interactive game for the new DS.

Any price is good and any genre.

Thanks

Heh thanks for the tip, i'll check these out in about 30mins and get back to you all. Thanks.

I have been looking at Animal Crossing and it looks good. Is it more of a female game though?

Also, it seems as though you need friends with the game to really enjoy it ... is it essential to have others to link up with? We do not know anyone with the game; plus we are going on holiday and so it is doubtful there will be anyone close playing it at the same time.

You know each other! Seriously it's a great game, not really more female orientated but they seem to love life sims like harvest moon etc.

Living in the same Animal Crossing house/town (on GC) and leaving each other messages, prezzies etc is part of the games charm. 1 cart will allow you to live in the same house and work towards improving it together :)

There are some sites out there that you can use to meet online players and hook up for some fruit trading, fishing comps or just a general nose around their town. Superb game either on or offline imo.

Thanks everyone!

We are going to get Animal Crossing and maybe either Hotel Dusk or Phoenix Wright ... any opinions on these?

Hotel Dusk is a great game its a thriller/puzzle adventure and i prefer it over Phoenix Wright but my girlfriend prefers Phoenix Wright.

Thanks everyone!

Both are great games, you won't go wrong with either one. Hotel Dusk does involve a lot of reading, however, but as long as that doesn't put you off, it's a great game. If the thought of spending plenty of time reading stuff on-screen doesn't sound like much fun, then go with Phoenix Wright.

Simply put, both are great games.
