Spec me a DS Puzzler that

Has a mix of puzzles

Say

Suduko
Numbers
Word searches

and other sort of "Daily Mail" things

That isn't Brain Training, though I'll have a look at that

i think it has sudoku, word search, crossword. not a great variety but have a look into it.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

It's all those traditional "move some matches to makes shapes", "get these things across a river" type puzzles we all know, but wrapped up in a really weird/fun storyline about a, erm, curious village.

I agree with Weebull, Professor Laytons has got to be one of my all time favourite DS games. Excellent puzzles which get harder and harder and a great little story that keeps you gripped and adds a bit of fun to the game too.

Ta, should have mentioned we already have Curious Village, will look at the other suggestion though, cheers
