any games (single player) that i should look out for that would take me a long time to finish, im not really bothered on the type of game just something with a bit of a story to it that you can get into and spend a good few hours playing.

cheers

last of us
bloodbourne
uncharted collection out soon which should be good
witcher 3

I'd say....

The Last of Us
Witcher 3
Batman: Arkham Knight
Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain

They'd all fit your criteria. I'd also throw Bloodborne into the mix as an epic game, but the story is incredibly hard to understand fully as it's not told in a traditional way. As an epic action game though, it has few equals.

Really does sound like you want the witcher. The last of us is just a no brainer. Simply one of the best ever made and needs to be experienced

If you want a really long game then Metal Gear and The Witcher are the way to go.

It would also help to know what you've already played because there are a lot of games that have been out a while that would fit the bill differently depending on what you define as a 'good few hours' such as:

Far Cry4
Bloodborne
The Order (6-8 hours)
Shadow of Mordor
GTA 5
Alien: Isolation

God of War 3 Remastered
Farcry4
Resident Evil HD Remake
Resident Evil Revelations 2
Tomb Raider

Most of these can be had for less than £15 now :)

Definitely The Witcher 3 and keep your eyes out for the Game of the Year edition of Dragon Age: Inquisition which is available on 6th Oct.

cheers guys, ive got/played

gtav
the last of us
alien isolation
both Wolfenstein's
farcry 4
Shadow of Mordor

ive also got dragon age & the order but there on my back log of games to get through :O) i played the first witcher game on the pc years ago but is there a back story to it or can you just jump straight in to witcher 3? also where can you get God of War 3 for that price

Another shout for Witcher 3, I've not played the first two (despite picking them up in a Steam Sale) and understand most of the story fine.

If you've got Dragon Age, play that first. That is an excellent game, good longevity but Witcher 3 is slightly better in my opinion because there are more varied locations and a slightly better story.
