Just sold up the Audi S3 and after a long hard think, am becoming tired of putting £12K+ in to cars. For now I plan on just finding a cheap runabout and spending my spare cash elsewhere.
What are the good buys in a budget of say, either;
I may yet go the other away and go buy another performance car as I have always owned, but would like to check out the lower end of the market before I decide. Maybe it's a pipe dream.
I noticed the Pug 206 GTI 180 can be had for about £1500. Used to own the standard 206 GTI many years ago and was frankly the worst car I ever owned, but back then I paid £8000 for it!
Likewise I keep considering getting another Civic Type-R EP3 as have owned two previous and they always felt fun, despite not being outright powerful. They go for £4-£5K.
