Im after a fan controller to fit in a Fractal R3 that is used for gaming / htpc and i have a few requirements for it :)

The fans that will be linked up to it are, 3 x 120mm front/bottom fans, 1 x 140mm Side Fan and hopefully the 2 fans on my H80 CPU cooler.

1 - Low profile so that the door will still be able to close, touch screen would be nice.

2 - Includes software so I can be really lazy and change the settings/fan speeds from the comfort of the sofa / without going under my desk.

3 - Allow profiles to be made? so at the touch of the screen / using software, allow 2 or more profile to be set up, so one for htpc (low fan speed), one for gaming (high fan speed) and a general everyday use one?

4 - Allow control of 6 fans, altho 4 would be acceptable.

It seems that the Aqua Computer Aquaero 5 PRO can do all the things i want one to do, but it seems overkill and a tad expensive...

Can anyone suggest an alternative or am I being far to picky?

Thanks

Adam :-)

The Aqaero 5 is awesom. MASSIVE focus on water cooling though so those features will be superfluous. However, the screen is awesome and the XT comes with a remote. Quality is simply 2nd to none and the screen can display all sorts of stuff including winamp etc if u are prepared to tinker :)

Also, have a sniff around for an Aquaero 4. Prices start at around £70.

NZXT Sentry LXE (the portal version) is the only 1 I can think of that would work for you (apart from the above). Im not exactly clued up with fan controllers, but I do know this is only £50 on average.
