Hi, I miss my younger days when I was clued up and would not need to ask such questions.

Basicly my case is running a bit warm, I think it is because the cpu fan is moving more air than my rear case fan, so I am looking for a high speed 120mm fan, pref with psu connection and some sort of basic speed control

Thanks

More likely the cpu fan is the problem, how warm is a bit warm, when didn't you last replace the thermal paste

Do you have any spare PWM headers on the motherboard? That'd be the easiest way to connect the fan as it'll both be powered and controlled by the motherboard directly. Most modern BIOSes allow you to set fan curves that adjust the fan speed depending on temperatures.

Example of a 120mm PWM fan:

Do you have adequate intake fans? If your intake fans are pulling air through dense dust filters or a radiator, you may need static pressure optimised fans for the intakes.

Hi, thanks for the help, i only have 1x rear fan, and no front fans, i have ordered a 120mm pwm fan for the rear, and will look at fitting the one thats there now in the front
