Hi,

I have had the nod from the 'Wife' saying go on get yourself some new kit.
So based on that I am immediately on OcUK looking for some decent hardware to build me a gaming rig.

I am looking for a new mobo (975X), a new CPU someit like the E6600. Will then obviously require new ram, new CPU fan unless a stock one comes with the E6600.
I am going to be keeping my 7950GX2, am I right in assuming this card will work on the new intel boards (will not be going SLi). Am keeping the case, PSU, soundcard.

Or is it better to wait for the new AMD boards. Only thing is I want it now, as my current rig I am bored with, :)
Been looking at the following: -

MSI 975X Platinum PowerUP Edition (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-072-MS)

----------------------------------------------------------------
DFI Infinity 975X (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-020-DF)
