Guys need a few new fans.

Must be good at moving air, must be good value for money *I don't mean cheap I mean I don't mind paying £15 quid for a good fan but not £25 for one that's about 1% better than everything else*
Noise isnt that much of an issue as long as they don't sound like mini tornado's.

MUST BE 3pin WILL NOT BE RAN IN A PC.
They will be ran off a Phobya 24watt external power supply. Could do with 2 x120mm's and 1x 140mm

These are all for a small project I just received some Zaward Golf III Fan 120mm ZG3-120C but these have to go back they must be the asthmatics of the fan world.
 
Thanks ill have a look at those was expecting to pay about £10 per fan for the 120mm and around £150 for the 140mm+ size fan so there a lot cheaper than anything else I've come across.
Ill need decent static pressure any ideas what there like ???


Anyone else got any input, my pc is full of Noctuas but im hearing there newer range isnt as good as there older stuff.
 
The fans are for a small project. There basically going to be cooling me and my desk :P yes I know I could just get a 6inch desk fan and be done but that's boring I have one of those and it looks crap on the desk.

These fans will be mounted in small speakers boxes that I have. Mount them on the desk like a 2.1 system the .1 will be the 140mm.

Moneys not really an issue I want the best fans I can get for the job but there's no need to be spending £25 on a fan if one can do the same job for £10.

What are the Zaward Golf III Fan 140mm ZG3-140D - black/blue fans like anyone know.

I will be needing at least 2x120mm and 1 x140mm + for the center this can be bigger as it will be out of view.
Basically I'm after some really good quality and value for money fan as the last set I ordered wasn't up to the job at all.
 
After hours of reading I've come up with these for the 120mm's

I picked these as I love black and white colour schemes :P no but really due to having a mounted speed control allowing me to spin the fans up to 2600rpm on a hot day.

The 140mm

Now this is a PWM fan as the OP states I will be using a external 24watt PSU with a molex to 3 pin Y adaptor to power all the fans the 140mm fan comes with a 4pin to 3pin adaptor is this PWM fan going to be fine on my adapter if I use the included Phantek 4pin to 3pin adapter ?

My brain is telling me its fine as im sure the 4th wire is purley to allow a device to control voltage without it I guess I just get a straight 12v's to the fan on the included 4pin to 3pin wire ?
