Spec me a.....font

I need to write a lot of binary on something for a very long time. I need a nice font to do it in. I'm thinking of something alone the lines of Inconsolata or a terminal-looking (as in the application, not the illness) font. Does anyone have any bright ideas?

My ex-tutor for Unix swore by Courier, I agree, looks very terminal-like!
