Spec me a Free MP3 Splitter Programme

I need to shorten an mp3 file that I have.

Are there any free programmes that do this? Obviously ones without spyware/adware.

Ive used WavePad before, it easy to use and its free.

audacity re-encodes the file which means you lose quality. so it is far from being the best. oh and carlsberg is **** water also....

i think mp3directcut would be better...

both of these can perform operations losslessly without re-encoding.
