Spec me a FTTC Router

I'm looking for a FTTC Router, wifi and wired to use with Talk Talk FTTC to replace the huawei hg532. I dont want to spend any more the £40 if poss.

Don't think you're gonna get a vdsl router that's half decent (if at all) for £40. You could get a wrt160n, put ddwrt on it and use the vdsl router as a bridge only. That will give you far more legroom for network monitoring and customisation.
 
Well since all VDSL in the UK right now uses an Openreach provisioned modem which then connects into a standard router with an Ethernet WAN interface, your easiest and cheapest option is to basically pick up any non-ADSL (ie. cable) router that fits your budget.

There is a Billion router which does have an integrated VDSL modem also, however, which will allow you to swap out the Openreach modem as well but this will not be cheap. You're best off just finding any cable router (ie. one with an Ethernet WAN interface and not an ADSL modem) that fits the budget.
