Spec me a full tower

So, I got a raise and have decided to treat myself to a new case to replace my rubbish NZXT Beta (you served me well, but I've outgrown you). I have a budget of about £100, which cuts out a lot of high end Lian Li stuff, but I could stretch a smidgen to an NZXT Phantom, and I'm trying to justify a Fractal Design Define XL, but it's a bit more than I want to spend... unless you can convince me!

Is there anything I've missed? A diamond in the rough that I've overlooked (besides the HAF case, which is just sinfully ugly)? Is it worth going 20% overbudget for the Define or should I be sensible?

Things I want: removable CPU backplate, good cable management, oodles of space, good cooling, and usb3 ports would be a nice extra.

Does it have to be a FULL tower? If so, then pretty much anything you buy will have more than enough space and cooling potential. If you can have a mid tower:

Lancool Dragon-Lord PC-K62. Brilliant case, loads of room for air cooling and will also do water cooling. Not the biggest, but that just means it may take a little longer to get cables perfect.

I just bought one of those for my bro, and I fully agree!

I am after a full tower though. It's an investment so I want something that isn't ever going to limit me, and that I can satisfy my cable OCD with (my current case is pants for this). Having read a few reviews, I'm leaning towards the Phantom for its better cooling performance, price, and awesome cable management, although the idea of having a quiet case with subtle styling does appeal to me. Conflict!

Bit too far overbudget. I've heard great things about them but I can't justify the extra. Cheers though

Go for the Phantom, I got mine a couple of weeks back for £100.
Looks great, cable management is easy if you spend a little time on it and the cooling is awesome. I ended up buying an extra 200mm fan as I have a double rad in the top and now with all the fans on low it's almost silent, loudest thing in there is my WC pump!

I had an eye on the colossus, particularly as the cable management looks good, but I wasn't sure if I could survive without a window it, whats the point in buying the sexy heatsink and ram otherwise? :P

I'm also considering the Aerocool XPredator, it seems to have it all from usb 3 and cable management to a decent amount of space, but it doesn't seem to be getting much love atm, maybe I need to wait and see a decent review of it.

Also loving the NZXT Phantom, however it's lack of USB3 combined with the fact the doors open the wrong way (for my desk at least) might cause me issues

I think it has to be the phantom, despite the lack of usb3. Now I just need a day off to have it delivered! Thanks all for input and for letting me bounce thoughts off yall. :)

Keep an eye on **********/todayonly, they are regularly putting the Colossus up on there and I saw one a few days ago for over £100 but under £110.

I know your new here mate but its a bad idea to show other people's deals as it is OCUK that run and own this forum

Ah in that case my apologies, I never actually realised there was an attached store I just came direct to the forums after spotting a topic of interest ;)

On the subject of no USB3 on the Phantom, I'd be happy to get a front panel for one instead if there was anything higher than 0% chance of finding one in that nice sexy red :). The HAF X does seem overwhelmingly popular, but attractiveness is not one of it's strong points.
