Doesn't bother me. Depends also how far away you sit from the 360. If you're glued a less than a metre from the screen of course you'll hear it. I hear my PS3 from around 3 metres away when it plays Blu-Rays and upscales DVD's.

Its a stupid generalisation to assume that the 360 will be too noisy to play a game on.

It doesn't bother you, yet consensus is it bothers other people.

Stupid to assume that everyone will be like you though.

Anyway pointless arguement, it doesn't bother you fair enough, just accept it will bother other people, and lets try not to derail the tread any longer.

I accept it bothers people, obviously not enough because people continue to buy the 360 more so than the PS3.

I just think its stupid to come into a thread and say do not buy a game on the 360 because its too noisy. Other factors need to come into it.

Anyway, on topic: I agree with the recommendation of Crackdown. Great game and really fun online with friends. Great mess around game and totally opened up, no need to unlock levels.
 
Well I ended up going to get Far Cry 2 :). Yeah crackdown was a amazing game I already got it though. And talking about xbox n ps3 my ps3 is just as noisy lol so wouldn't matter either way :P

I wouldn't say that about any game though, but with this game I stand by my original statement - IF you have both consoles then I would pick it up on PS3 because the sound plays such and important part in creating suspense and adding to the atmosphere that IF you are one of the unlucky people who have a noisey 360 (which you obviousley aren't) then it makes sense to play it on the quieter console....

Ah ok, fair enough - you either have a quite 360 or a noisey PS3. I still say Dead Space is worth a punt though which ever format you eventually chose ;)
