Well what do you have? Recent games to try are Crysis, COD4, The Witcher, World In Conflict (Best imo) and Audiosurf (steam game)

train simulator ,should be nice and relaxing

Then i recommend a screensaver, Audiosurf requires very little effort and you can use your own music. There are few experiences more laid back.
If you have HL2 then try out some mods for that. PVK2 came out recently and is worth the download. There are some pretty good ones out there that'll keep you entertained for a while. If you're looking for a quick flash game then look up Ant Buster.

hmm, looks like i should give up gaming tonight, as loading up audiosurf seems like a great deal of effort right now! LOL
I was in the same boat as you, so I just downloaded the 'Eve' client and started a free 14-day trial. Now I have a dilemma, seen as I'm liking the game quite a lot (although it looks to be very complicated) I'm not sure if I should pay the fees and carry on after the trial.

Why dont we spec you a girlfriend/job/car/house/breakfast, in fact an entire life while we're at it
But i would suggest going old school and reinstalling the fps classics like doom/quake duke nuke, its all good!

well i played gta for a while, the hot coffee mod got bored though, might wack up audiosurf
